Erin Day

Erin Day

I am a Recovery Ally. That means I am a safe place for people to disclose their recovery or active substance use status. It also means I have access to recovery support services and proven prevention methods.

Deciding to run the TCS NYC Marathon as a Partner for Hope is a once in a lifetime opportunity to raise money for good and put my love of running to the test of 26.2 miles.

I have experienced healing through running several times in my life. I have lived experience loving someone with a substance use disorder.

I believe people recover. I believe families can heal. I believe that families should have access to support for treatment of their child and their individual healing.

I am running the 2018 New York City Marathon on behalf of the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids and need your help to reach my fundraising goal.

Thank you for supporting the Partnership's mission to provide resources and services to families struggling with their child's substance use.

Partners for Hope raise critical funds on behalf of the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, the only nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families struggling with their son’s or daughter's substance use. Every dollar raised on behalf of the Partnership will ensure that their free, family support resources, including a Parent Helpline , one-to-one Parent Coaches, online tools and community education programs, can reach those who need them most. Please consider donating to this fundraiser and sharing this page.
