HI MY NAME IS DEBRA AND THIS IS MY STORY: I'VE BEEN AN ADDICT FOR 20 YEARS. I STARTED BY WANTING TO FIT IN WITH THE COOL KIDS AT AGE 13. SMOKING CIGARETTES,SMOKING POT AND DRINKING BEER. WHEN I TURNED 17 I GOT INTO HARDER DRUGS. BUT MY DRUG OF CHOICE WAS"METH" IN 2008 I WAS A MIDDLE MAN SELLING IT BECAUSE I DID'NT HAVE A JOB AND NEEDED FAST EASY MONEY SO I THOUGHT. EVERYONE I KNEW WAS DOING IT. I DID IT WHILE SELLING IT BUT, I THOUGHT I HAD IT UNDER CONTROL. I STARTED SHOOTING IT AND THATS ALL IT TOOK. I WAS HOOKED ON THE HIGH. I STARTED TO LET PEOPLE COOK IT IN MY HOUSE. IT STARTED A FIRE. I FINALLY HIT ROCK BOTTOM AND GOT BUSTED WITH A METH LAB. I WENT TO FEDERAL PRISON FOR 30 MONTHS. IT SAVED MY LIFE. TODAY I' VE BEEN CLEAN FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS. I WILL NEVER GO DOWN THAT PATH AGAIN. I NOW LIKE THE SOBER "ME" THANK YOU "GOD" FOR THE WAKE UP CALL.

I called calm last night due to hvniag felt really down over the last few months. Ive been depressed for reasons out of my control. After hvniag to move home more than four times this year, the stress and anxiety got to me along with a shortage of work.It was good to know that someone was prepared to listen and give advice. The adviser assured me that I was not the only person who was feeling like I do. She also suggested that exercise and attending a club or society would help me boost my moral. After the phone call was finished I felt that things could move on and that there was hope around the corner.Big Thanks to CALM
