It's The Truth

I was a drug addict for 10 years on the street of Los Angeles in California. ?I was molested at a young age, raped 3 times, almost died, ?almost killed several times and have even wanted to kill. ?Free basing Cocaine was my drug of choice but i did many other drugs at the same time. ?I now have 25 years sobriety. ? ?I have been a member of a jail ministry for over 12 years where i have ?been ?sharing my story with the women. It has had such a profound affect on the women that i have put it in a book called: ?"BOOTY CALL- IT'S THE TRUTH" ?BY SHA JACKSON ?Published by Zulon Press, released June 2012. ?I have been traveling telling my story and having book signings. ?I have also founded a Womens Ministry called "Daughters of Destiny"

What a beautiful tribute to your mom! You and your family have been such a strong support for her. She has had a long road of this sickness to deal with and you all have been their for her. You, Michele, Lori and your father have been so dedicated to helping, listening, and getting her through the rough patches. Your mom has also been a strong support for you during your teen years. She has always been their for all your needs, She has directed you in the right path which sometimes for you, might have been hard in your decision making. But look at the woman you have turned out to be. I am so proud of you and your family in handling such a terrrible illlness with dedication and love. And I am sure your mother feels the same way. All in all, she is cancer-free. Thank God! Love you, Aunt Jan

As Marla,s uncle I am more than moved by this article that she has written about her mom, Gail ,who is and has always been a rock for her family throughout there lives. My sister has seen how it has paid off to stand your ground, even when your decision for your children are not always favorable. Gail has always been a mother and friend to her 3 girls (mother first) . God knows Gail is extremely proud of her 3 adult children and husband Frank. My brother-in-law Frank, whose unwavering support along with their 3 wonderful kids, Michele, Lori ,and of course Marla gave my sister the courage and strength to combat and defeat a disease that could have defeated her. I am proud to write this as I watched the support Gail has given to her family over the years be returned to her especially when she needed it the most. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY LOVE BOB
