Im jared from homestead pa.. A small town outside of pittsburgh. Poverty shooting and drugs are a.daily part of life. I had a good childhood and parents. When i was a child i.was tested by local gangs if i was tough enough to.b in the neighborhood. So i did whatever to fit in. Inluding drugs. When i.was 13 i.tried weed for the first time. It waz ok nothing happen. As i got older and into highschool. It became a more frequent thing and alcohol too. When I was 16 I started trying other things like shrooms, acid, cocaine, ecstasy.... After.i graduated it became more frequent on a weekend to weekend basis. I started going to rave parties all over pittsburgh. Then i.was introduced to painpills while working at a landscaping co. After a couple months i was hooked. Everyday i woke up shaking sweating. I couldnt do anything without some type of opiate. Eventually i lost everything i worked for, including the love of.my life. Soon i realized i.needed help. So i went to my first rehab 2 hrs away. I was scared but i knew it was right. I turned into a monster,.stealing from my loved ones, lying, manipulating. So.i went to rehab but didnt change. I did the same things in rehab that i did in the streets. I didnt go for me, i went for everybody else so when i got out i was still the same. It was march 2012 and I was still a.junkie. I moved back in with my mom. Herself is an addict. A bad situation we were codependent. Feeding are addiction back and forth. In may shit hit the fan. I was sick n tired of being sick n tired. I tried to.commit suicide. My mom found me on the floor with a bag on my head unconscience. She gave me mouth to mouth n called 911. A day later I found my self in a physc ward. There I finally gave up. The next 3 days was hell but I got through it. I spent 2 weeks in there. From there I went to my 2nd rehab gaudenzia erie pa. It was a therapeutic community. I loved it, it was what I needed. I spent 30 days there. From there I went to a half way house for.3 months. I got a job there n things were finally looking up. I got my own apartment in october. Its now january and I spent the holidays clean with my family. And its all because of my god and my program that I run perfectly. I am currently 9 months clean and couldnt be happier
