My Downfall

My story started on a rainy day . I was working inside a burger joint doing heavy labor and towards the end of the shift injured myself by falling on my back . Shocks of pain were going thru my body so i was taken to a local hospital. When i arrived at the hospital the nurse was shocked at how much pain i was in and shortly came back with a wonder drug as they called it, "Dilaudid". 2mgs went into the iv and instantly my world was changed that day. By the grace of God i recovered but my mind set had changed. I had decided to try opiates again. They were the wonder of life. I started going to multiple hospitals to get high and then get prescriptions for percocet and valiums. Eventually I found a doctor who prescribed me Vicodin by the 100s. After that it all went slowly down hill and when pills were not working i switched over to Heroin. I started shooting heroin until one day i drank and took sleeping pills with my usual heroin shot. I woke up in the hospital 2 days later. Since then i have relapsed a couple times.

My story is a lot like yours, hang in here and keep faith in yourself. U really can do it u just have to want it more than anything in this world. U always have to keep it in mind if u use one time it can get it's hold on u again and trust me i know the grip it can get on u! And it's not something u should try to fight alone, u need the support of others. And for someone to help u through the cravings before the relapse, it's better to stop it before. There is also meds that really help and takes the sickness and cravings away. It really is a wonder drug I dont think I would have done as good as I have without it. It is called Buprenorphine might be a good thing to check in to, I'm telling u it could save your life. Good luck to u, wish u all the best! Stay strong you'll be in my prayers

Hang in there there is hope of a better place for u in life, u just have to stay strong even when u fuck up and keep the faith in yourself. Trust me its so worth it. I have been clean from herion for almost two years now (and everything else) and I'm happier than I ever was. I try never to get down on myself for my old life because that was in the past. And I know it was the drugs not Me they have all the power. I, like, everyone thought I could never go more than a few hours without wanting a shot but that slowly goes way and u can regain your power. Good luck to u wish u all the best! Being clean is so worth it I just wish every drug addict could foresee there is life after recovery! Being an addict is horrible and I will pray u get all the way out of the darkness and finally see god's light (or whatever your higher power my be)
