It's All For Me

It's All For Me

I started getting high with marijuana at the age of 15, with my boyfriend. By the age of 22, I was on crack cocaine, 5 years later I was a full blown crack addict, and pregnant with my third child. I was court ordered to rehab, but managed to dodge the system by moving to different addresses. Finally, DFAC caught up with me, and took custody of my six children. I ended up in jail for contempt of court, while pregnant with my seventh child. At this point I was tired and wanted my children back, so I went to rehab from jail. I faced the difficult days and nights without my kids, and I said I would get clean for the children, but in the end it was all for me. I followed my case plans, which were attend rehab program, get a job, obtain housing and stay clean. I accomplished those goals and some. I am 51 years old and have been drug free for 17 years. During my years of doing drugs, I was killing myself, now I live and ?enjoy life with my family.?
