Ricky's accident

Ricky's accident

My friend Ricky was in a terrible car accident when he was 16. The passenger passed away-Ricky's best friend. Ricky blames himself. We were friends before the accident and he changed. Starte smoking pot everyday. Started stealing wine from grocery stores. He escalated to triple cs. It's cough medicine that can cause you to trip. He would use his last dime or favor to get something so he was messed up. This went on for about 3 years. He ruined a lot of relationships and friendships. Burned a lot of bridges. He had a girlfriend later on. She changed him. In the beginning he would sneak around and be drunk or high every chance he got but after awhile and several mental breakdowns he changed. And to this day (4 years after the accident) I believe he's sober. He moved away and went to college. I believe that people handle pain in different ways and his way of coping was to be messed up. Luckily ?he healed and now he's doing great. Don't give up people! With the right motivation you can change.?
