Bad choices

Hi, my name's Leroy. I'm 22 years old and will be turning 23 in April. My drug use and alcohol use both started around the age of 15. My father was always in prison and we were raised by my mom. I tried everything to help her out while I was young and then later found an "escape" in drugs and drinking. Starting with marijuana moving to cocaine and ecstasy. I stayed hooked on cocaine up to October 4, 2012, when I made the biggest mistake in my life. My addiction for cocaine led me to make an agreement on transporting a load of 150 pounds of marijuana across and international bridge into the U.S. That day while I was sitting in a prison cell I realized that at that point my life had gone down in a complete spiral and went for the worst turn. As of now I'm out on bail and awaiting sentencing for my mistakes in March of this year. I guess the reason for me putting my story on this site is basically so people can get some type of help before it gets to hard and to deep. Having a supporting family really helps except no one besides family members that I partied with helped my addiction. I hope this opens the eyes of at least one person who reads this.

Stay strong, quitting isn't as hard as it seems to be.
