My Run with the Devil
I had the perfect life. A wonderful Christian family, good grades and an amazing boyfriend. But at the age of 15 I had my run with the devil. One of my friends recently got out of rehab and I wanted to hang out with them. Little did I know that that decision would change my life drasticly. I thought maybe I would just try a little bit, but you don't just try meth once. I started sneaking out every night. I was in people's houses I didn't even know. I was getting in deep. When I wasn't skipping school, I was tweaking-out there. I got addicted. My addiction was taking all my money, so I had to resort to other way of getting stuff. I ruined things with my boyfriend of over a year and my family couldn't stand to be around me. Finally I decided enough was enough and I needed to get clean. I went away and when I came back my boyfriend helped me through everything. All the night cravings, the mood swings, he has always been there for me. I have been clean for months and I couldn't have done it without my support system.
