Addicted, my mind, body and?spirit. My whole state of being. Life was insane, I could not do anything without using something to ease my fear, people, objects, and people. My use has landed my in jail, loss of jobs, beautiful women, friends, family, and most of all myself. Drugs, the things I used to gain strenght and perception of reality had turned its back on me and left me hopeless. My last day I was standing in an ER with a diaper on, unable to control my bowels. I almost died like Elvis. Finally my father arrived to take me back to my house but my wife of 9 years did not want me there. I had put her through hell. She had enough. I will never forget the look on her face, I was pathetic. Luckily I? had a rehab to call. They took me in. I stayed over the holidays. I was happy to be there. The day I left I went to NA and AA. Started to pray to a God of my understanding.? I have a new life now, friends. Who would have thought. I'm happy most days and I love myself. I haven't used any chemicals for some time. I owe it all to my new found freedom. I wish everyone who needs could get this and I pray that it never leaves me. Will
