Sober now

Hello I am 38 years old. I have been sober now 3 years. I was an alcoholic and hooked on coke, pot, crack, and crystal meth. It took me wrecking my car into a parked car to realize I had a problem with drugs and alcohol. I lost my husband and a good job that I had. I did not care what happen to me. I spent every last cent that I had on anything I could get. It was getting to the point that I would be up for days at a time. I should not be here at all but for some reason I am.

I have been sober for 3 years now. I decided that I wanted to start attending church and now I go every Sunday. I know church is not for everyone but it really helps me get through the hard times because I don't want to turn to drugs and alcohol anymore. I am doing really well now and got my job back at where I was working at before all this happen.

I hope my story encourages other people to stop doing drugs and alcohol because it can kill you. I have seen many of my friends and family lives destroyed over it. Mine included.
