A Grateful Recovering Addict

A Grateful Recovering Addict

Hi my name is Corinne and I am a grateful recovering addict. The reason why I say "Grateful" is because if I didnt get clean from using drugs I wouldn't be sharing my story with someone who needs to read it. About five years ago I started using meth from hanging out with the wrong crowd, sleeping on the streets and almost selling myself to get what I want. After being on the streets for almost a year I went into a drug rehab program for almost four months. After that I came home to my moms and I had know other choice but to go too NA meetings and got me a sponsor to help me work the steps. I am 20 months clean after relapsing twice. So if u are not sure of where u belong or who to turn too, try talking to someone who has been down the same road you are going down now. I just hope my story and my picture makes you think twice of your life.
