I wish I knew...
I wish I knew...
I spent 2 and half years using, lying, stealing so I could get more. I never was happy, I rarely let myself feel feelings. And when I did let myself feel it was too much to bare. I constantly had to struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts when I was coming down. It was the longest, scariest, agonizing years of my life.
When I finally did become clean because I had an amazing support system. I had my mom, close friends and other family behind me. I never went to rehab. I beat my beast myself. I am proud to say that in Dec. 13, 2012 I became six years off. And I am loving life.
Moral of my story: never give up. Find help. And worse comes to worst, move away and start over but you gotta do it for yourself.?
