Can you believe it?!! The NYC Marathon lands on my real sobriety six year birthday. Thank you for those that have been apart of this journey. For those that I have hurt in the past, I truly ask for your forgiveness. I am sorry as I KNOW I hurt many during my destructive journey with alcohol.
Running continues to provide a healing alternative to the daily drinking. I owe so much of my recovery to running and the support of so many caring and loving individuals. I am so so grateful. I thank you for providing me grace and I look forward to the next time we can be together.
