In December 2020 my sister lost her battle with drug addiction. Her addiction caused emotional, psychological, and financial stress to our family. After her death we spent a lot of time going over the "what ifs", thinking of all the things we could have changed. Unfortunately, dwelling on that doesn't change anything. This fall I will be running the 2022 NYC marathon in memory of Shannon and to help raise awareness to help addicts and the friends and family's of addicts.
