On November 2, 2025 I will be running the New York Marathon on behalf of the Partnership to End Addiction. They are a non-profit that empowers families and those suffering from substance addiction and enables more effective pathways to prevention, treatment and recovery. This is a cause that is close to home for my family. In September 2023 my step brother Cody lost his battle with addiction followed by my step brother Wyatt in 2025. In the words of my step dad, 'if I can help just one person who is suffering with this disease, their deaths will not have been for nought'. 

I know how heart breaking, maddening, demoralizing, and a whole host of other emotions it can be to watch a loved one battle addiction, wanting to help but not knowing where to turn. I chose to run with Partnership to End Addiction to help the millions of families out there struggling.
