In memory of Phillip Morisi

Created by Michael Morisi

Phillip Morisi

Phillip grew up in Virginia. He was brilliant with an IQ of 158 and loved science and civil war re-enactments. Once when he was about 10, we went on a bus tour of Gettysburg and the tour guide was amazed at his knowledge and she even let him provide some of the tour information to others on the bus. Because he was so smart, everything came easy to him and he was bored in school. He also had a difficult time making close friends and was often rejected because he was ahead of other boys his age. Once you got to know him though, you saw the warmth, love, gentleness and kindness in his heart. He loved family more than anything and tried so hard to get the approval and acknowledgement of everyone he was close to.
