In memory of Michael Dean Meek

Created by Family Of Michael Dean Meek

Michael Dean Meek

On September 6, 2008 the family of a seventeen year old young man namedMichael Dean Meekexperienced a horrific loss. Just the night before, he had experimented with duster. That following morning, as a result ofMike's tragic choice, his mother came to find that he had passed away. In the wake of Mike's death, the news of his passing sent shockwaves through the small community of Ionia, Michigan. AlthoughMike's family and friends were obviously affected by his passing, Mike's reach extended much farther than anybody really expected.Any individual in attendance at his funeral was joined by nearly FIVE HUNDRED other people of varying ages. It became increasingly obvious throughout the funeral that people were not only affected deeply byMike's passing, but also what led to his tragicdeath. As much as everybody learned from Mike while he was alive, wehave all also learned a great deal from his passing. For those that knew Mike and for those that loved him, his death will NEVER be in vain!!
