In memory of Gia Carangi

Created by Family Of Gia Carangi

Gia Carangi

Gia was the first woman in the US to die from complications of AIDS. It is believed that she contracted the disease thru the sharing of needles, a little known fact in the early Eighties.Today, many people with drug and lifestyle issues look to Gia for inspiration and comfort, after having learned about all she had gone thru. Gia has made me more aware of the world in which I live and more sensative to its problems.
