My son was the most fun loving, caring, and compassionate person in my life, along with most of his friends. He would always be there if someone needed help or just an ear to listen. He made a mistake that developed into a horrible addiction that claimed his life. Rob only started heroin six months prior to his death. He attended rehab weeks before he died. I remember coming home from a meeting one night with him. He knew he was going to die, but he was going to fight until that day. That day came much too soon. Now all that is left are memories for me - and emptiness. He is the true meaning of "only the good die young." For now I will continue his war in attempting to educate all on this plague that took my son. I miss you Rob and look forward to the day when we will be together again!
