In memory of Jordan Groves

Created by Family Of Jordan Groves

Jordan Groves

Jordan was my little brother. My brother was not an experienced pill taker. He made one bad decision in the early hours of May 11, 2008 (Mother's Day). He was around many "friends" who were afraid of getting in trouble instead of helping him. My brother was well liked by everyone. Even before his death, NO ONE said a bad word about him. I was eighteen when my brother Jordan was born. He was like my own child. My life has changed forever. God has put me on earth for a reason. That reason is to help others and educate on this horrible drug. I miss Jordan so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your story with us. You write that "[Jordan] was around many 'friends' who were afraid of getting in trouble instead of helping him." Here is information on how we can help bring Good Samaritan laws to our state (legislation that provides limited legal immunity for minor drug law violations for those who call for help as well as the person who is overdosing.) http://www.drugfree.org/advocacy/help-bring-good-samaritan-laws-state/

Kristie, Jordon seems like a beatiful person indside and out. I'm sorry for your loss. We will never understand why God chooses who he does but we must trust in him. I'm sure you have an angel looking over you. Praying for your peace, Nancy (Allyson Joyce's mom)

Jordan is beautiful Kristie, just beautiful. He will always be beautiful. I am so very sorry. You will miss him forever. Tell his story Kristie, everywhere you can. The pain cannot be defined, nor all the beautiful things he was. I wish you love and peace.
