Sal was a kind and caring father, husband, brother, son, uncle and friend. He touched the lives of so many and his memories will never be forgotten. His death was untimely and unfair but his life was full of love and memorable moments. He loved to spend times with friends and family. He had a particular love for his children, Victor and Marissa, who are forever impacted by his life and death. It wasn't until the months before his death that we realized how much hurt and pain he struggled with and harbored. We wish he would have allowed us to support him in his struggles, but he felt that in order to be strong, he needed to handle things on his own. His death has taught us the importance of support, communication, faith and love. We will never forget the times we've shared with him and hope his life will serve as an example to those who struggle with alcohol. In your darkest moments, you are never alone.
