From 1979-1985 we were married. I feel the terrible loss of his absence here with us. He was loved by many, but those relationships unfortunately diminished due to alcohol. Nick was a very hard worker, had big dreams and fulfilled some, but alcohol got in the way. I truly wish his difficulties could have improved. The increasing use of alcohol and other substances is such a concern in our society, it is astonishing. We all miss Nick and pray for him, and that he is very much at peace and out of his pain.
