In memory of Joseph Jones

Created by Family Of Joseph Jones

Joseph Jones

My son Joey died at the age of 20 from an accidental drug overdose. He had a heart of gold but hid it from everyone to be one of the guys. Joey was loved so much I really think that the tough love I tried back-fired on me. Between the bullying in school and my tough parenting he turned to the crowdfor accepteance and got involved in drugs. As parents we just tried to keep him alive and catch him before anyone else. Joey was a girl's dream. He left us with two wonderful grandkids and there would have been plenty more. Joey told me he did not have a drug problem he had a money problem. I was scared to death he would not wake up one day. Thankfully he was living at home when he passed away. I prayed so hard for God to help him. Be careful what you pray for, God hears.
