I am Joey's mother. He was only 26 when he passed away in his sleep from an accidental drug overdose. He was my pride and joy. He was the life of the party, and everyone he met fell in love with his charm. He loved music, sang and wrote lyrics. His friends called him "Joe Money." When he passed away, he was almost 2 months clean from the oxy's. He was starting to turn his life back around. He wanted to get married to the love of his life, settle down and start a family. Unfortunately, it was too late. Since his death, my heart has broken and my life has not been the same. There isn't a day that passes that I don't long to see his beautiful blue eyes and his smile, or hear his voice. What a waste. What a shame. I would not wish this pain and grief on ANYONE. Joey, I love you with all my heart and miss you every day.
