In memory of Ronald Creed, Jr

Created by Teresa Kopkas

Ronald Creed, Jr

Ron was always the life of the party. But, after his son passed away at the age of 4 from cancer, he lost the one thing he loved more than anything in this world. He drowned his sorrows with alcohol and drugs. Then, one night he danced too close to the edge he was always teetering on, slipped and fell, and we lost him too damn young at 41. Our dad had passed away at the age of 43 when Ron was just becoming a teenager, and the 1 thing he always said was, "I just gotta live longer than Dad". Our only hope is that he is no longer in the pain that consumed him on this plane and is holding his beloved son in his arms once again. We tried time and again, begged him to seek help, but always fell on deaf ears. Our mother buried her youngest son days before her 71st birthday. If we can help just one person fight this terrible affliction, then his death will not have been in vain. We love you forever, Ron, and we miss you so much.
