Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm reaching out and asking for help from you all too help me continue with expenses that I'm enduring along my early road to recovery. I've spent the last 3 years in WI woman's prison, and financial issues are a big roadblock/stressor in my life right now. I first used herion almost 7 years ago, and it completely destroyed my life. I became the "person I said I'd never be like" growing up. I went against all morals and beliefs, betrayed my family, lost two of my best friends too overdoses, and was physically dependent on something so evil just to function day to day. They say addiction leads to either jails, institutions, or death. I've lived through the first two, but more then anything I just want to live happily, and I know to do that, I need to be sober. I am 28, I am on the VIVITRAL injection, which is a monthly opiate blocker shot, I attend Intensive outpaient group two times a week, two weekly UA drug screens, and also work part time. I sleep on my grandmothers couch in her one bedroom apartment, and often have to resort too hours long bus rides to get to the places/appointments I have. Everyday I wake up and look at a picture of my two young son's. They are the last missing piece of my puzzle- without them I literally feel incomplete. In order for us to be reunited I need to maintain a safe residence, work or go to school, attend and complete my IOP program. I need help to purchase a vehicle, and a apartment....im starting from ground up. No one said recovery is easy, but it's most definitely worth it. I appreciate your help in helping me on my road to sobriety, and living a happy life with my baby boys. Thank you!!
