Let's Silence the Stigma

Kelly Lambkin

Kelly Lambkin

Welcome! I will be running the 2024 NYC Marathon in memory of my cousin, Matthew. Matt was funny, charming, and ambitious. He would frequently do our grandmother's makeup, and make the rest of our family laugh to the point of tears with his sharp sense of humor. Matt's light was incredibly bright, and we miss him dearly. We remember him as a fashion icon, a comedian, a friend, a cousin, a brother, and a son.

Addiction is a disease that forces too many to suffer in silence & isolation. Recovery and addiction education provides those sick & suffering with a chance at life. Please consider leaving a supportive comment below, or donating to support both my marathon and the incredible work done by Partnership to End Addiction.

Partners for Hope raise critical funds on behalf Partnership to End Addiction – the nation’s leading organization dedicated to addiction prevention, treatment and recovery. Every dollar raised on behalf of the Partnership* will help ensure free, personalized family support resources, including our national helpline, peer-to-peer parent coaching, customized online tools and community education programs, can reach those who need them most. Please consider donating to this fundraiser and sharing this page.

How very wonderful that you are doing this in honor your cousin Matt! Susan and I are lifelong friends, and I had the privilege of knowing and loving Matthew in his younger years along with his sister Rachel and of course his mom. I know Matthew is watching over his family and I’m sure he couldn’t be happier that you are doing this. XOXO
