Anniversary

Anniversary

On this day October 1, 1981, I was reborn and given the gift of life -- for I had reached a bottom in life and spiraled downward. A life once filled with hustling, partying and wearing fine clothes, it seems like a thing of the past. Oh! How I cried.

Those days are just faded memories, but if I fail to remember, I am doomed to repeat. It is easier to stay sober, than it is to get sober.

It has been a wonderful journey, by God's grace and mercy I made it.

I am grateful for accepting the challenge 33 years ago and will continue to keep gratitude in my attitude.

Thank God I can laugh again, but never let me forget how I cried.

Hi Laura, Might this message find you well and in good spirit. I want to take a moment and thank you for your acknowledgement. I utilize what I learn in the program, and to get rid of my ego, also using the serenity prayer. You have a bless day. Author Jerome Livingston
