hey i am monica i am 18 now but when i was 15 i started to do heroin, and ice i would pay 250$ in heroin and maybe 800$ in ice i got bad i needed heroin every 2 hours and needed ice all the time. It was so bad that I?got sick to the point i was going to the bathroom and vomiting all over?myself.? i couldnt eat or sleep and i would get hot and cold flashes and with ice it was the same way. i was on ice nd heroin for 3 1/2 years and now i am pregnant and have a wonderful husband, if not for him i would be an addict he brought me out of it i thought my life was over i almost died nd im grateful i got a second chance.


This Story of Hope was created in celebration of recovery and to let families know that there are pathways to hope and healing.
