Im a?32 year old single mom. Ive been 9 yrs clean with one relapse feb 2012. I was addicted to meth for 5 yrs. Got down to 60 pounds. I had 2 beautiful kids..a boy n a girl, 7 and 8 now. I lost them to social services. I could not get clean,?and the man i was with was controlling and abusive. I could not leave the house or see my family?and friends. He tried commiting suicide numerous times while i was pregnant with both kids. After i lost my kids, he threatened to kill me. I relocated to wyoming for 4 yrs. Stayed in a domestic violence shelter for over a year. And attended?NA meetings all the the time. Over the past few years now, i have my own place, job, car. I am also involved in my other childs life that i did not lose to social services. My drive for life is to help people like you. I did not go to any treatment. I did it myself, with the support if others. The meth demon destoyed my life. I am so lucky to be alive today, and be a part of society. I eat, sleep, work, clean. Words of wisdom for u. Dont let it get u. Dont let it kill u. Reach out, swallow ur pride. Leave whats in the past in the past and move foward. Dont look back. Keep ur head up. Love urself and let others love u as well. Its a damn long road..i aint gonna lie. But i promise u, it will be so worth it. Talk to god. Hes there with u right now. I cant thank anybody but the lord for helping me get clean.
