"My name is Linda"

"My name is Linda"

Before leaving home I tried to OD on a bottle of pills because I didn't see any reason to stick around. I came from a very dysfuntional family, my dad would give me the beer and didn't care where I was night or day. I was skipping school more than I attended, so they finally expelled me. I was very scared and alone, so I just tried to seek employment and get a descent job. When I was 17, a judge court ordered me to a drug rehab center. I went there about a year. I came out alittle better being clean for a year but when I was released to go back to my little travel trailer, all my weed & paraphernalia was still sitting right where I last had it. ?I guess I was so sick and tired of going nowhere, I knew there had to be better out there. I was eventually introduced to a church group and started attending home bible studies. I finally found a reason and purpose for living. I hope that any of you that also feel like giving up, have no hope or reason to live, ?please know that their is one greater that purposed each one of us to succeed! I can honestly say that through. His love and strength I now take one day at a time being the best that I can be and finding happiness throughout my journey.
