Childhood hell

Childhood hell

All through out my childhood i was forced to act precise and mature and i had to be an adult. Because my family was always disfunctional and abuse and drugs mixed with my family quite often. When i was twelve my parents split and i started living with my dad and older sister. I lost track of everything and started having sex on the regular along with drinking, popping pills, and doing drugs like acid, dmt, pcp, etc. When i was 14 i got pregnant and was forced to have an abortion. It was the biggest pain i ever had to endure. And will never forget that baby as log as i live. Those drugs ruined my life and even got me arrested multiple times. After the abortion i went to rehab and started the 6 month road to recovery. I havent done any drugs except marijuana in 6 years and have a beautiful son and fiancee, but will always regret my time as a teenager.

This Story of Hope was created in celebration of recovery and to let families know that there are pathways to hope and healing. The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids is the only nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families who are struggling with their son or daughter's substance use. Please consider sharing this page so that families know where to turn to for help, and that there is always hope.

I understand the pain of losing a child through abortion. I lost two children this way. Men suffer differently, but we suffer. God forgives and our lives are changed forever. Please be careful using marijuana...I've heard of many people relapsing because they still smoked. Congratulations on your new life!
