My Big Brother
My Big Brother
He was about 20 when they got together and this started happening. He had been an alcoholic since age 15. He tried to get help but they put him on a waiting list. My family thought he had quit the drugs but I guess we were wrong.
On December 8th, 2012, my brother's boss (who lived with him)?found him unresponsive on his bedroom floor. His boss looked at the table and found pills of Methadone - a weaker form of heroin. There had been five but his boss found only?one and half?left. My brother?crushed them up and snorted them.
His autopsy was on December 11th, 2012 and they still haven't determined the cause of death. They don't know if his liver quit from the drinking or if it's from the drugs.
I just thought I would share my brother's story because I hope people can learn from his mistakes. I know I did.
