My partner is a recovering addict
3 months after we started dating he started acting differently, he no longer cared for the meetings and started trying to connect with people at meet up groups.
Those people have sparked back his vices and I'm afraid it will be a constant struggle. For those people out there know you have people who would be there by you; but with addictions they might not stay with you.
It has been a struggle for me to deal with my partner and his addiction. So far after thick and think; although not married I'm staying put. He's got choices and I sure hope he chooses me and not to continue with behaviors that are killing our relationship.
