Total Transformation

I have been clean for 10 years now. My mother and father provided me with what I needed through grade school. I started my ?downward spiral my junior year of high school. After years of trying anything i could get get my hands on to mask the root issue, I found myself 40 pounds lighter (thats a lot when you only weighed 150 to start with). Turned away by every friend and family member and sleeping in a bus stop booth, I turned to rehab. 5 months later I was back at it. After another year of the same insanity, at the age of 23, I was given the chance to move away from California, all the way to Little Rock Arkansas. I was able to remove everything standing in my way of sobriety. At 31 years of age?I am now going through the process of being a successful business owner. I am a home owner. I have 2 beautiful children and I am about to marry the girl of my dreams. It's wasn't easy and still isn't. But it's a better life. A sober life. Today is day 2 of no cigarettes. Hardest addiction to kick yet.

Awsome! Great job! Those are the stories i love to hear. Being mother of a son who has been sober for a year now, your story is very encourageing. I used to go to meetings like alanon and would always get discouraged. I only heard of people being addicted for life ,etc. that is not what mom wants to hear. God has helped my son very much. Of course i give my son a lot of credit. I never knew how serious addiction is. God bless you!! And all the addicts out there. There is hope!! Praise god!
