Getting my life back.
My name is Toni and I'm a drug addict. I started using drugs at 17. I could blame my drug use on lots of things, I made a lot of mistakes and I hurt lots of people in my life. In 2004 at the age of 34 years old I went into treatment I had to do something different I wasn't living I was just existing. With the love and support of my family And the 12 steps of Narcotics Anonymous I celebrated 8 years in October. For the first time in my life I can look in the mirror and love and respect the person looking back.

The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids is the only nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families who are struggling with their son or daughter's substance use.
