I started drinking at 14 to feel like I fit in, and to hide my fears, started using meth at 21 to lose weight, and continued living in the fog, I thought I was just having fun, until I was 41. I missed out on raising a family, crying for lost loved ones, living life in general. I had gotten to the point I did not care about anything. However, someone did care about me, his name was God. By legal force he brought me to the rooms of AA, where people surrounded me with love and acceptance that I had never known and had always seeked. I have 8 years and 8 months today clean and sober. A life I never thought possible, filled with peace and serenity that carries me through all lifes difficult challenges. I always have a family wherever I go around the world. With GOD all things are possible.
