Resilient, I Am.

Created by Raequel Winston

Resilient, I Am.

Hello, my name is Raequel, and I am an addict... I'm 24 years old and I began using meth at the age of 15..I am able to tell my story while sharing my experience, strenth and hope with pride for the simple fact, I rose above my streotype...I?began snorting meth at 15, soon I began smoking then soon after, I became an IV user. ive had my story published twice, so if u want to really feel me...do so...we are all worthy of life fruits. We ?all have ?made mistakes but, we are not mistakes. All I can say is be u, not your past....living right is hard, just as living wrong, anything worth having is worth fighting for...please contact me if u want to feel understood. It don't matter how many times u fall, all that matters is how many times you get up...choose to heal, choose resilience...?

This Story of Hope was created in celebration of recovery and to let families know that there are pathways to hope and healing. The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids is the only nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families who are struggling with their son or daughter's substance use. Please consider sharing this page so that families know where to turn to for help, and that there is always hope.
