Drug Awareness "A Mother's Cry"

This is my Son Scott, when he was 9 years old he was hopping on a freight train with a friend. The train started moving and the boys tried to climb down. Scott's friend Jason made it, but Scott's pants got hooked on the ladder of the train which dragged him and cut off part of his left foot. His other leg was degloved of all its skin. He has had 36 surgeries since then, numerous skin graftings and nerve transplants. I have always believed this is what started Scott's addiction because he was always put on so much pain medications.

Scott is not a young boy anymore, he is a grown man of 41. He was in a military academy doing great until the courts awarded him with a million dollar settlement, they gave it to him on the day he turned 18.

I was a divorced mother raising him and 3 other children at the time and knew nothing about law suits and how to handle his money. To this day I wish I would have...
