The Love of My Life

My boyfriend and I have?been together six years, three of which he has?been addicted to heroin and pills. We've been through multiple plans, relapses, and detoxes. He has spent and pawned thousands of dollars, lost multiple jobs, lied, and stolen. His family and I have always said as long as he seeks help, we'll stand by his side offering whatever help and support we can, but we struggle due to our?limited resources.?Lately, I think he has lost hope and is starting to give up on staying sober. Hopefully this site can lead us to a more promising plan. I hate the monster he can become, but?I love the man hidden inside. I'd hate to see him disappear.

Aimee, this is great article on troubled teens that are abusing alcohol at such a young age and some warning signs for parents to take notice of. In my research I have also found teens or youth that grow up with family problems to have a higher risk of abusing alcohol. It seems like kids now days are getting younger and younger and teen drinking is becoming a huge deal. This is a great article and we at boardingschools-troubledteens.info back this information up 100%. Great post and look forward to future ones.
