I will be running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3. This will be my first marathon, and I am beyond excited to conquer this feat and to be able to do it surrounded by friends and family in NYC. I am running in support of Partnerships to End Addiction. This charity is on a mission to transform how the US addresses addiction by empowering families, advancing effective care, shaping public policy, and changing culture. They help families prevent and treat addiction and support recovery for their children and loved ones. They also work to improve the addiction treatment system and end the addiction crisis.
After losing a good friend to addiction I have seen first hand the heartbreak and disbelief of losing someone to this disease. This fundraiser is in their memory as I hope I can make an impact on someone else's life who is struggling with the disease of addiction.
Any amount will help me reach my goal before race day!
