Help Me Run the NYC Marathon for Families Impacted by Addiction
This year marks 10 years since my sister Emily’s death from an overdose, and I’m running the New York City Marathon to raise $5,000 for the Partnership to End Addiction, an organization that supports families navigating substance use and addiction.
If you’d like to support this journey, I've created a few fun ways for you to help be a part of my training and race day:
$25 Add a Song to My Marathon Playlist
Send me a song and I’ll add it to the playlist that powers my training runs.
$50 Homemade Sourdough
I’ll bake you a loaf of my sourdough bread as a thank you. This option will be guaranteed to those living in the DC area. I will do my best to get loaves to everyone who donates but will not be able to ship any.
$100 Add a Name to My Race Shirt
Your name (or a name you choose) will go on my marathon shirt so you’re with me on race day.
$200 Sponsor a Mile
Your name (or a name you choose) will be written on a wristband with the mile of the marathon you’re sponsoring and I’ll give you a race weekend shout-out.
$300 Sponsor a Week of Training
You’ll sponsor a full week of marathon training and get updates on the miles and workouts you helped power.
$500 Long Run Sponsor
Sponsor one of my major long runs (17–20 miles) during training. I’ll dedicate that run to you, share updates from the run, and recognize your support as helping power one of the most important parts of marathon preparation.
All tiers are cumulative and include the levels below.
I’ll be sharing updates throughout training so you can follow along on Instagram @dianerunsnyc. Every donation supports families facing addiction and helps turn this run into something bigger than just 26.2 miles.
