As fall nears on the horizon, I am thrilled to embark on a profound journey that holds both personal significance and the power to drive change. This year, I am excited to be participating in the legendary 2023 NYC Marathon (my first marathon.. ever!) not merely as a runner, but as a passionate advocate fighting against the harrowing grip of addiction. In having a family, I feel even greater empathy to those impacted by the devastating Fentanyl and Opioid Crisis. Addiction knows no boundaries, and it ravages not only individuals but entire communities. It's a battle that demands our unwavering attention, empathy, and support.

I have been privileged to witness the transformative power of community, creativity and empowerment. Seeing the art world led by a few brave individuals rise up and take on the Sackler empire has been inspiring. This crisis demands a united effort and compassion.
