Soulshine Healing

Heather Boudreau

Heather Boudreau

Heather first became passionate about fighting addiction after losing her older brother in 2016 to his struggle with opioid addiction. Within the next year, after watching many others struggle with addiction, she lost nearly a dozen other friend and family members. That is what gave her the wakeup call that this won't stop unless we work to stop it. If there is one thing Heather wants to give people in this world, it is the gift of Yoga. The unwavering peace she finds on her mat amongst life's extreme ups and downs is something she wishes everybody could experience. It is her to intent to lead others to the mat to not only allow people to connect with a Yoga practice, but to raise awareness on the crisis of addiction that our town, our state, and our country face. Heather has been practicing Yoga for 9 years. In 2017, she traveled to Thailand. After an intense, immersive training, she became certified as a Hatha Yoga Instructor. During that time, she associates a lot of her grief healing with having a consistent Yoga practice. It is there, where she realized she would not flow through life by allowing addiction to win. She would not accept these losses easily, nor would she let the memories of those she loved to fade away. She would make a difference. She would make a change. Because of that, she has created this Soulshine Healing project. By bringing these Yoga classes to the public on a donation basis, all of the proceeds will go to the Center on Addiction. The funds will help the foundation provide parent coaching, knowledgeable rehab facility insight, and prevention efforts in the youth of the community. Heather would like to extend her deepest gratitude to the Center on Addiction for recognizing addiction as exactly what it is- human. For believing that those who suffer deserve our help, and for facing this crisis with determination, faith, and loving intention. She is confident that without the Center on Addiciton, our country would be in even more danger. Please join Heather for an all levels class of breath and mindful movement, in an attempt to establish peace within yourself, and to make a difference in your community.
