CARUSO CLASSIC 2024

Tyler Reiter

Tyler Reiter

On April 6th Torque Barbell will host a Memorial Meet for Lucas Caruso and his legacy within the sport of Weightlifting.

Lucas developed a love for the sport of weightlifting at an early age, training with his Uncle Buck and competing when he was just 13 years old. His hard work and commitment earned him a spot at the Junior Olympics and the record for Clean at his high school, which remains on the weight room wall to this day.

Later in life, Lucas came back to the weightlifting community and became a staple at Torque. Always willing to help train, support, and encourage those around him, he had a huge impact on the Torque family. He especially loved spending time with his kids at the gym and helping them grow in the sport. He was proud to mentor not only his own children, but to also be a positive role model for many youth at Torque. He will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication, his laugh, and his affinity for sweet 80s workout tunes.
