Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am running the NYC Marathon in November in memory of my friend who passed away due to different circumstances than addiction; however, she was in recovery with me and is the reason that I continue to run these races and raise money for a cause that meant and means a lot to the both of us. I am 3.5 years sober and addiction impacted and impacts my life greatly. Due to resources such as these, I am now living a life beyond my wildest dreams and it is a privilege to be a part of something so special. My ultimate goal is to help change society's view on addiction and, along with living my truth, this is one way I choose to do this.
